Yesterday, I was able to get Purdue Chicken Breasts for just $0.99 per pound at Kroger so we are going to be eating chicken in different ways several times over the next few weeks. Since there was so much interest in my previous Crock-Pot recipe (Crock-Pot Chicken Stroganoff) I thought a nother Crock-Pot recipe would be a good idea to share. This recipe is delicious and is Weight Watcher friendly, too, just 5.5 points per serving
Ingredients
- 2 Chicken Breasts pounded out thinly
- 2 Slices 96% Fat Free Ham
- 2 Slices Fat Free Swiss or Mozzarella Cheese
- 1 Can Fat Free Cream of Chicken Soup
- ¼ cup Fat Free Milk
Directions
Put ham and cheese on chicken and then roll up and secure with a toothpick
Layer on bottom of Crock-Pot
Mix remaining ingredients and pour over chicken
Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours
Serve over noodles with remaining sauce
Serves 2
Total average cost of the dish, based on using coupons and buying on sale: $3.50
